With Vanderbilt Health OnCall, you can schedule a visit from a Vanderbilt nurse practitioner to your home, workplace, hotel or short-term rental (Airbnb) at your convenience. OnCall nurses provide a basic level of care for common illnesses and injuries. They also offer physical exams and diagnoses, lab tests and medication prescriptions.
Available 7 days a week, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., in select locations in Nashville-Davidson County or the cities of Brentwood, Franklin, Hendersonville or Nolensville.
Most insurance plans accepted. Self-pay visits are $149 (with lab tests, first-dose medication and additional treatments priced separately).
OnCall is for adults 18 years and older with non-emergency medical conditions who are in Davidson County (including Nashville) or the cities of Brentwood, Franklin, Hendersonville or Nolensville. To schedule a visit, complete our online form or give us a call. You also can download the Vanderbilt Health OnCall app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
OnCall is not a replacement for emergency services. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go directly to the closest emergency department.
All OnCall providers are credentialed nurse practitioners employed by Vanderbilt Health. We’ll send a provider to your doorstep, based on your location and symptoms, within two hours of your confirmed request. (Note: Provider arrival times may be slightly longer when patient volumes are high).
Vanderbilt Health OnCall is available seven days a week with extended hours to fit your schedule. You can request a same-day visit for a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries.
To better coordinate your healthcare, we will share the results of your visit with your primary care provider. Or we can help you find one, if you do not have a provider already.
